Ninth game in 8 days

Tonight we traveled to Cherokee. Tyler was the starting pitcher for the first two innings. He struck out 3 batters. The Bulldogs beat the Braves 11-10. 

The Knights from Carroll Kuemper came to town...

...And we 10 run ruled them in the fifth, 13-3. Tyler had another double play. They are so fun to watch!

A nailbiter in Spencer

Another road trip for Steve, grandma and myself to watch a close game. The Bulldogs ended up prevailing over the Tigers 3-2. Tyler had another double play plus good catches and throws to first to help the defensive efforts for the team!

Road trip to Sioux Center

Tyler pitched the first 2 innings. He struck out 3 batters and allowed one hit. Dayton pitched the last 3 innings and allowed one hit. They beat the Warriors 13-0 in the fifth. Tyler now has a pitching record of 2-0 this season. 

A birthday win!

Just like her anniversary Grandma spent her 60th birthday with us watching Tyler and the Bulldogs beat the Spirit Lake Indians 10-0 in the 6th. Tyler had numerous defensive plays to help Parker throw a two hitter. Great game and Happy Birthday Grandma!

Final game of tourney

Tonight the Bulldogs took on the Carroll Tigers and won 11-9. That makes the win good enough for third place this weekend at the tourney. 

Before the game, Steve and I went paddle boating. We had a great time and plan to go camping again soon. 

Breakfast over an open fire

A morning thunderstorm didn't dampen our mood. My goal was to make breakfast over an open fire...and we did it! Bon appetit!

Night game

Tonight they played the Falcons from Council Bluffs St. Albert. They lost 2-14 after five innings. 

Kuemper Invitational

Tyler was the starting pitcher for the first game vs IKM Manning at the Kuemper Invite. He had three strikeouts in his 5 2/3 inning pitched. Parker came in as relief to finish the game. They won 5-3. This was Tyler's first win as a Varsity pitcher for the Bulldogs!

Steve and I decided to make it our first tent camping weekend at Swan Lake State Park.

So far we've totally overpacked, been to Hyvee and Walmart for forgotten supplies, and realize we will be going back a third time 'cuz we forgot bug spray. 

Fortunately, we got the last 6 pack of Reds Apple Ale at Hyvee so we're set;)

Back in the "W" column

Tonight the Stars from Sioux City North came to town and the 'Dogs were back on track. They won 3-0. 

Road trip to Storm Lake

We played the Tornadoes and lost 1-2. 

Anniversary at the ball diamond

Today is Gramma and Grampas 41st wedding anniversary. How fun that she got to celebrate it with us watching the Bulldogs beat Hull Western Christian 7-3. 

Father's Day

Tyler spent yesterday at the College World Series with his teammates. After having breakfast with my dad, Steve and I drove to Omaha. We spent the day at the zoo and went out to eat with Lauren, Deonte and little Ah'trell.

 Annie was super excited to meet the newest member of the Kneifl clan, our precious little Everlee.

 Its been only two weeks since we've seen Cooper and he's changed so much! Can't wait to see him in another two weeks for his first birthday.

 This group is extra special...

To be able to celebrate the start of birthday month with a 5k and continue it with a party with all our family and close friends has been so much fun. Thanks to everyone for making the trip, short or far, to celebrate this milestone.

Tonight's game was the last of 3 home games in a row this week vs the Midgets of Estherville. The boys won 5-2. Coach has done some tweaking and Tyler has a permanent position at second.

The Dutch from MOC-FV came to town...

And we showed them what Lemars baseball is all about. The Bulldogs won 14-2 after 5 innings. Tyler was a part of 2 double plays. 

Another shut out

Tonight the boys took on the Braves from Cherokee. The tandem pitching of Hunter and Tyler once again pitched a no hitter. They won 10-0 after 5 innings. Tyler had Caleb DH for him tonight. 

First loss of season is always the roughest

Tonight the Cyclones from Harlan came to town and it was a battle all 7 innings. The Cyclones ended up winning 10-5. Tyler went 0-3 batting. 

Another shut out

Tonight the 'Dogs traveled to Spirit Lake to take on the Indians. Tyler played second base and had many good plays for outs. He went 0-3 batting. The boys won 8-0.

Shut Out

Tonight Grandma, Steve and I made the long haul to Emmetsburg to watch them take on the E'hawks. They won the game in four innings, 15-0. Tyler pitched the last two innings in which he struck out 3 batters. He batted an RBI double, 2 HBP, and KO.

Post race

Afterwards, we spent time at the Smith's. Everlee is getting so much bigger since I seem her last. Rich and Andrea are adjusting to parenthood beautifully. Although, at times, I think Andrea may have 2 kids on her hands;)

Dam to Dam 5k

What a fun way to start off My moms 60th Birthday month but by running her first 5k with her at Des Moines' Dam to Dam. She ran it in 35:30 min, getting 24th in her age group. 

Babysitting

While Hollie and Jason had a movie date Grandma and I took the kids to the park. They loved playing in the sand.
