Snowmobiling

Today Steve and I spent the day at Mom and Dad's snowmobiling. We had a blast! It was my first time driving one. I was nervous at first but after a few runs I got the hang of it. Coming up over the hill in the pic, is how far I jumped when my back hit the ground. Definitely, the farthest jump of the day. Steve got the speedest of the day topping out at 75mph down the hill. Afterwards, they cooked us supper then it was back out to check it out in the dark. It's a lot different in the dark and I wasn't as daredevilish as when the sun was up. Thanks for a great day!

Christmas 2012

Sunday night Brad and Kelli treated us out to eat at Minerva's.
Brad gave Steve his Christmas gift. It is not fit to share on social media but lets just say his calendar makes us not miss him as much.
 What's in the box Tyler?
Our little Cooper...puts everything in his mouth. He is adorable and so laid back. I love helping with nap time.
Chloe was  the little elf delivering presents Christmas Eve.
Rich, Andrea, and Baby K. She was very active Christmas Eve and I got to feel her kick my palm. We are sooo excited to welcome her this next year.
Sorting out the presents
After weeks of shenanigans by Grandpa, Grandma finally got to open her gifts:)
Our holiday game was Battle of the Sexes. The men won round 2 but it was the women who won the series. I found out how much I don't know about the opposite sex.

Christmas 2012 was a wonderful and blessed time. I love sharing time and making memories with my family. My favorite part was attending mass at the monastery and celebrating it with the Carmelite nuns and the Bishop. Afterwards, we were priviledged to be able to visit with them. We have so many blessings this past year and it is mainly due to the abundant amount of prayers by these 7 ladies. Mother Josephine called my Aunt today and told her that I am earning my own set of Angels wings. Our family made quite an impression on them but little do they know they made an even bigger impression on us.

Good night by whole team!

Before Christmas break they played Cherokee tonight. Grandpa came over for a "homecooked" supper then we went to the game where Lemars won 75-28. Tyler had two 3 pointers and 2 rebounds. It was fun to see the reserves play most of the game.

Playin' at "the pit"

Tonight the boys traveled to sioux city to play Heelan. They lost 57-42. Our Aunt Barb and cousins Anne and Josh came to cheer and watch Lemars and Tyler play his 1 min and 10 sec. After the game mom invited us over for a drink and to give Steve and I our birthday cards. Since we don't know how long my card was in dads truck I'm pretending I was celebrating my 29th birthday;)

Schindler Wedding

Saturday our cousin, Jeremy, married Diane. We had a great time celebrating their special day with them and seeing our extended family. The single males unanimously voted to have Jeremy take the garter off per his teeth only. Young to old single males were all gawkers. LOL

Follow up

Today Tyler had his follow up appt w Dr Spanos. All 3 lymph nodes and parotid gland tumor removed were benign. He has a less than .02% chance of a tumor reoccurring. In a year he will have a follow up MRI. Tyler is cleared to play basketball which he is thankful for. The sutures were removed and steristrips put on. Dr said it all looks good. Thank you to everyone for your prayers and support, especially my parents. We were so blessed to have you with us while in Sioux Falls at the hospital.

Gift

Yesterday we gave this to Tyler for him to wear. We've received lots of prayers and we appreciate them all. Our family and friends are so very important. Last night we went to the movie with grandpa and grandma and saw "here comes the boom." It was a funny movie but it also had a good meaning about never giving up on anything or anyone:)

Tonight we had grandpa and grandma over for dessert and then supper. Yes, we headed to ice cream parlor first for dessert and then came home for supper. We are so blessed to have them close and provide us with so much support. Earlier this month we celebrated with a truly surprise birthday party. This picture along with a big thank you was sent to us. Uncle Rich said it best, "looks like only the motorcycle has changed!"
