Snowmobiling

Today Steve and I spent the day at Mom and Dad's snowmobiling. We had a blast! It was my first time driving one. I was nervous at first but after a few runs I got the hang of it. Coming up over the hill in the pic, is how far I jumped when my back hit the ground. Definitely, the farthest jump of the day. Steve got the speedest of the day topping out at 75mph down the hill. Afterwards, they cooked us supper then it was back out to check it out in the dark. It's a lot different in the dark and I wasn't as daredevilish as when the sun was up. Thanks for a great day!

Christmas 2012

 Sunday night Brad and Kelli treated us out to eat at Minerva's.

 Brad gave Steve his Christmas gift. It is not fit to share on social media but lets just say his calendar makes us not miss him as much.

 What's in the box Tyler?

 Our little Cooper...puts everything in his mouth. He is adorable and so laid back. I love helping with nap time.

Chloe was  the little elf delivering presents Christmas Eve.

 Rich, Andrea, and Baby K. She was very active Christmas Eve and I got to feel her kick my palm. We are sooo excited to welcome her this next year.

 After weeks of shenanigans by Grandpa, Grandma finally got to open her gifts:)

Our holiday game was Battle of the Sexes. The men won round 2 but it was the women who won the series. I found out how much I don't know about the opposite sex.

 

Christmas 2012 was a wonderful and blessed time. I love sharing time and making memories with my family. My favorite part was attending mass at the monastery and celebrating it with the Carmelite nuns and the Bishop. Afterwards, we were priviledged to be able to visit with them. We have so many blessings this past year and it is mainly due to the abundant amount of prayers by these 7 ladies. Mother Josephine called my Aunt today and told her that I am earning my own set of Angels wings. Our family made quite an impression on them but little do they know they made an even bigger impression on us.

Before Christmas break they played Cherokee tonight. Grandpa came over for a "homecooked" supper then we went to the game where Lemars won 75-28. Tyler had two 3 pointers and 2 rebounds. It was fun to see the reserves play most of the game.

Tonight the boys traveled to sioux city to play Heelan. They lost 57-42. Our Aunt Barb and cousins Anne and Josh came to cheer and watch Lemars and Tyler play his 1 min and 10 sec. After the game mom invited us over for a drink and to give Steve and I our birthday cards. Since we don't know how long my card was in dads truck I'm pretending I was celebrating my 29th birthday;)

Travel game

Tonight the boys played in Sioux Center and lost 66-53.

What a game!

Before the game mom n dad came over for a homemade soup supper. Then we saw the Bulldogs beat Spencer in a double overtime victory 86-80.

Too cool for school

Tyler sporting his new suit today at school for their first home game of the season. They played Hull Western Christian and lost 65-69.

Emelia comes for a visit

We were so excited to have Victoria and Emelia come visit tonight while Dan worked.

Great job on the road dogs!

The Bulldogs beat the Emmetsburg E'Hawks by a whopping 40 points...74-34.

From behind the arc...

...Tyler scored his first 3 point bucket as a Varsity Bulldog! He is #24 on both his home and away uniforms. The team won vs Spirit Lake 68-44.
