Afternoon Doubleheader

 To get ready for district play the Bulldogs took on 4A, Sioux City East this afternoon. Tyler was the starting pitcher for the first game. Up first was, Dom Thompson-Williams. He is the 2012 Iowa Gatorade player of the year. With a 2-0 count Dom hits a single to left field. As Dom would attempt to steal second Tyler threw the ball to Andy and he would rocket it to Hunter on second for the pick off and out. 

Later in the game, Tyler would pitch to Tennessee D1  recruit, Jake Westphal. This pitch shown is the one that would strike him out. These 2 pictures will be Tyler's claim to fame when both these men play in the Major Leagues.

Tyler pitched the first 4 innings and takes the loss with 6 strikeouts, 2 walks, and 2 HBP. The team would end up losing 1-11. The second game would be a bit closer with East resting their big guys. Lemars would still find themselves on the short end of the stick taking another loss 2-4. This game concludes the regular season for the Bulldogs. Their record is 25-7.
